How to transfer your WhatsApp chat history from Android to iPhone

Last year, WhatsApp released a new feature that allows users to transition from iPhone to Android and keep their chat history.

Starting with the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, the feature was only available on Samsung devices. A few months later, Google announced that the functionality would be available on all Pixel phones. The feature will be accessible on all new phones that come with Android 12 out of the box. But how about moving WhatsApp conversations from Android to iPhone?

WhatsApp chats can be transferred from Android to iPhone.

Apple has finally listened to your cries and now allows you to transfer WhatsApp data from an Android handset to an iPhone. You'll either need a fresh new iPhone that hasn't been set up yet, or you'll need to factory reset your iPhone in order to do so.

"We're adding to WhatsApp the ability to safely switch between phones and transfer your conversation history, images, videos, and voice chats between Android and iPhone while retaining end-to-end encryption," Mark Zuckerberg wrote on Facebook on Tuesday. This is one of the most frequently requested features. Last year, we introduced the option to transition from iPhone to Android, and now we're introducing Android to iPhone."

Step-by-step instructions

As previously said, this will only work with a brand new iPhone. On your Android phone, you'll need Android 5 or above, and on your iPhone, you'll need iOS 15.5 or higher.

The following are the procedures to transfer WhatsApp data from Android to iOS:

On your Android phone, go to Google Play and download the Move to iOS app.

Follow the app's steps until you see a code on your iPhone.

On your Android phone, enter the code, select "Continue," and follow the on-screen instructions.

You'll eventually come to a screen with the words "Transfer Data" at the top. You have the option of transferring data from apps like as Messages, Contacts, Calendar, and, most recently, WhatsApp. Before you select "Continue," make sure you tap WhatsApp. Before you hit "Continue" at the bottom of the screen, make sure you tap WhatsApp.

To complete the data transfer process to your iPhone, follow the remaining prompts.

You can transfer your account information, profile picture, individual chats, group chats, chat history, media, and preferences if you follow these instructions. Your display name and call history will be the only data you lose, but that's a tiny price to pay.

We can watch lectures and tutorials whenever we want. 4. Technology is how we connect. We have always connected, but now we have social media sites where we can interact with people around the world. We can stay connected with friends and family no matter where they live. 5. Technolo...

Market for quantum computing shows advancement and new alliances

Market for quantum computing shows advancement and new alliances   1. Quantum computing market size Quantum computers are expected to have a significant impact on the world economy over the coming years. In 2017, IBM announced its first commercial quantum computer, called the Q System One. The company claims that the machine can perform certain calculations at 100 times faster than traditional supercomputers. IBM’s quantum computer uses a different approach to classical computers, where bits of information are represented not as 1s and 0s, but rather as both 1s and 0s simultaneously. This type of computation is known as quantum computing. 2. Market drivers The market for quantum computing is driven by several factors including increasing demand for high-performance computing systems, increased use of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, and the need for greater security and privacy protection. According to Gartner, the global market for quantum computing was ...

Will technology take over the world?

Will technology take over the world?   1. Artificial intelligence Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the science of making computers think just like humans. AI is already being used today in many ways and will continue to evolve rapidly. There are two types of AI: narrow AI and general AI. Narrow AI is what we use everyday and includes things like search engines, self-driving cars, and speech recognition software. General AI would allow machines to think and learn like humans do. 2. Robotics Robotics is the science of building robots. Robots are automated devices that perform specific tasks based on preprogrammed instructions. In recent years, robotics has become increasingly popular among inventors and engineers. Today, robots are commonly used in manufacturing facilities to automate repetitive tasks. Many people believe that in the future, robots will completely replace human workers. 3. Biotechnology Biotechnology is the study of biology and how it affects ou...
