Rumor | The forthcoming 10-series flagship smartphones from iQOO will
have the Dimensity 9000 Plus processor.
It is anticipated that the next iQOO 10 Pro flagship Android
phone would debut with the most cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1
CPU. It currently appears that the vanilla 10 that might go with it will
compete favourably with the similarly fresh MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus SoC.
According to reports, its brand has obtained the rights to introduce this
upgraded silicon to the market first.
The iQOO "10 Pro" is expected to be the first
flagship phone to use the updated Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, albeit this may
not happen. Its brand, a Vivo subsidiary, is now predicted to win a different
contest in July 2022: the race for the equivalent Dimensity 9000+ podium.
The new MediaTek flagship is an incremental improvement over
the 9000 and has apparently been seen on Geekbench squaring off against the 8+
Gen 1. Now, as part of the iQOO 10, the 2 SoCs will reportedly have the
opportunity to continue doing so within the same premium Android series.
This potential, which was recently raised by well-known leaker
Digital Chat Station, may also give the 10 a more compelling upgrade than its
most immediate predecessor, the 8, which was left on the Snapdragon 888
platform while the 8 Pro moved forward with the 888+ in 2021.
The 10 might also benefit from iQOO's most recent
fast-charging technology, which is expected to surpass competitors in late
2022. That could be reasonable to anticipate from a company with a track record
of releasing cutting-edge specifications year after year. Overall, it is hoped
that the 10 can at least launch with its allegedly improved processor outside
of China.
